The mathematical equation for this looks like E = F + V - 2. Well done to the Hexagon's group who found this out from their investigation making 3D shapes. The Triangle's group today learnt how to draw cubes on isometric paper. Circles and Squares have been looking at the features of 3D shapes. Check back next week to see some more of our geometry work.
Welcome to Room 10's blog for 2010. Room 10 is an awesome Year 5 & 6 class with 12 boys and 16 girls. We think that Clifton Terrace School in sunny Nelson is the best school in the world!

Shaping up in Maths
In Room 10 this week we've been learning about about Geometry. Did you know that if you add the faces of a 3D shape and the vertices together then take 2 away this gives you the number of edges!!!! Wow!!!!!
